Stained glass is an art form over 1,000 years old. Traditionally expensive & highly labor intensive, pieces of glass are arranged to form patterns or pictures, all held together with a rigid supporting frame of metal. The colored glass panel controls incoming light & creates a delight for the eye.
The delicious cookies you’ll make from this kit are quicker & more fun. The edible frame of support is a delicious sugar cookie dough that is rolled and cut with a large cookie cutter. Then you’ll cut out shapes with smaller cookie cutters to create the “window lights”. These are the openings you’ll fill with sweet hard candy “art glass”, crushing & spooning it into each shape.
